Sharm el Sheikh – Things to do

There are a lot of things that you can do in Sharm el Sheikh: you can take part on excursion both by sea and both by land, you can see beachs, do shopping, eating in a typical local,  browse in the “fake” street, you will find copy (some are very bad) of the biggest brand, bags, watches, shoes, t-shirts, …….

Ras Mohammad National Park

Ras Mohammad National Park : it is a natural reserve created on 1989 to protect rarely animal and plants species, the place is also know as “Allah’s Aquarium”, it extends for 480 kilometers of sea and desert which joining togheter create a huge natural spectacle and create a ecosystem unique all over the world. Inside the park it is possible to snorkel on a fantastic reef and see many fish of various species. A trip here is a must-do for anyone staying in Sharm el Sheikh. Location: 38 kilometrs south of Sharm el-Sheikh. 

El Fanar

El Fanar: one of the most beautiful beaches of Sharm, the sea is always calm and the snorkling one of the best.

Naama Bay

Naama Bay: if you love shopping, this is your place. It’s a road with a lot of shopping that send everythings, bags, shoes, t-shirt, watches, jewelleries, ….. All is false. You have to bargain, remeber that the initial price is more or less the double. Sometimes the sellers are to insistent, I suggest you to  tell “No, thank you” e go away.  In addition to shops, there are bar, restaurant, where you can eat and listen to music.

Old Market

Old Market: it is the old town, there is a beautiful mosque and some shops that sell souvenir.

Soho Square

Soho Square: it is a road with bar, shops, restaurants, this road is more refined than Naama Bay. It was created specifically for tourists.

Local Transport

Try Local Transport: I suggest you to try the local transport at least once, they are minibuses that you can stop anywhere and you can ask the driver to leave you wherever you want. They are very cheap and also you can try living the “real egyptian life”
